Salary:
£45,000 - £50,000 DOE

Shift:
Permanent Nights | 10pm-6am | Monday PM - Saturday AM

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights) to join a fast-paced manufacturing business on a permanent night shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering maintenance and fault finding on advanced industrial machinery, including Injection Moulding machines and assembly lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine PPM to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
  • Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Troubleshoot PLC and drive systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
  • Use the company's CMMS system for managing maintenance tasks and resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Production Line or FMCG environment (Essential).
  • Knowledge in PLC fault finding (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards, including OHSE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Electrical qualifications or hands on experience required.
