Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of electricians and general maintenance staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical services.
  • Service Delivery: Responsible for the service delivery of the operative team, including the recruitment and supervision of staff, production of rotas, and liaison with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Fault Finding and Resolution: Lead on fault finding investigations and proposals for resolutions, and implement quality control mechanisms to ensure planned and reactive works are being carried out correctly.
  • Process Improvement: Regularly review engineering processes and procedures to seek continuous improvement and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent, with experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services.
  • Skills: A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance, demonstrable planning & project management skills, and previous experience leading teams of electricians and general maintenance staff.
