Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Professional to join our dynamic team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Project Delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic projects that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Define and execute an Engineering Bill of Materials strategy, aligning with business requirements and best practices
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, applying appropriate project management methods and tools
  • Support the creation and maintenance of team plans, with effective reporting to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Professional Project Management or engineering qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in engineering, with a strong understanding of the engineering bill of materials and life cycle management
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving consensus
  • Capacity to identify and troubleshoot project challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
Desirable:
  • Previous experience with Jira or Atlassian Suite
  • APM PMQ, Prince 2, or relevant project management experience
