About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Property Manager to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management company, you will be responsible for managing a large and complex estate with multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Ensure effective service levels are maintained, and act as a representative towards customers, clients, and developers as appropriate.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain working relationships with the committee of any Residents Association, RMC, RTM Co, and attend their meetings as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Identify and deliver ongoing training needs to support the team, utilizing internal and external methods and support.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage performance, setting guidelines, managing holiday/sickness absences, and organizing shift cover.
  • Cost Control: Effectively control costs and review expenditure and accounts, including assisting with setting service charges and presenting financial reports.
  • Customer and Contractor Management: Hold proactive customer and contractor meetings, ensuring issues are promptly administered and dealt with within agreed timeframes.
  • Complaints and Risk Management: Investigate and respond to complaints, undertake risk assessments, health and safety checks, and routine testing requirements.
  • Contractor Supervision: Support the monitoring and supervision of contractors, ensuring reactive/planned works are conducted to a high quality.
  • Site Inspections: Carry out regular inspection audits of the site, taking remedial action if necessary, and ensuring the fabric of the building is maintained and serviced to a high standard.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Budget and service charge accounting experience.
  • Level 2 or ATPI qualified, or willing to work towards.
