Job Summary:

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Risk Transfer Consultant to join their dedicated Risk Transfer team. As a part-qualified actuarial trainee, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of client accounts in managing their risks as part of a dedicated de-risking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients in managing their risks and providing high-quality advice on de-risking strategies and transactions.
  • Working closely with Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers to provide expert advice on risk management.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of de-risking strategies and transactions.
  • Making progress with actuarial exams and staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified actuarial status with experience in either a pensions or insurance context.
  • Experience in risk transfer or a keen interest in developing in this area of the market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
