About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ILS Engineer to join our team at Marshall Group. As an ILS Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting various projects, producing Integrated Support Plans, and conducting ILS analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake ILS tasks in accordance with Def Stan and customer specifications.
  • Identify problem areas of the design that would have a high cost and supportability impact on the product and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Conduct Reliability tasks in accordance with Def Stan 00-40 and customer specifications.
  • Identify areas of poor reliability in the design and recommend improvements or alternative solutions.
  • Undertake Maintainability tasks in accordance with Def Stan 00-40 and customer specifications.
  • Populate the Logistic Support Analysis Record with the analysis carried out in accordance with Def Stan and customer specifications.
  • Provide support to the Proposals Department in writing ILS plans for tender proposals.
  • Ensure that tasks are completed in an appropriate and timely manner to the customer's requirements.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Full understanding of Quality Management and Control systems.
  • Knowledge and use of ILS, Reliability, and Maintainability (including Windchill-RELEX software).
  • Use of computer packages such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, MAX MRP System, and Windchill (RELEX).
  • Good written and verbal communication to clearly express views and ideas.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff both internally and externally.
