Job Summary:

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Lawyer to join its esteemed IP Litigation team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and high-quality training and experience in IP disputes and litigation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a broad range of disputes and related advisory work for clients from various industries and sectors, including fashion, film, video games, esports, e-tailing, music, and merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and conduct of IP litigation cases, including trademarks, designs, and copyright disputes
  • Providing advice on IP matters, including litigation in the High Court and IPEC, IP Office proceedings, domain name disputes, online enforcement, and pre-dispute advisory work
  • Assisting in the preparation of evidence, interim injunction mediation, CMCs, costs budgeting, disclosure, and trial
  • Providing support in complementary non-contentious IP work, including drafting IP agreements and dealing with wider contract/tort issues
  • Assisting in handling ASA and other advertising clearance and disputes, as well as consumer protection issues

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in IP litigation
  • Strong academic background and high-quality training and experience in IP disputes and litigation
  • Experience in handling a broad range of IP disputes and litigation, including trademarks, designs, and copyright disputes
  • Experience in preparing and conducting IP litigation cases, including evidence preparation, interim injunction mediation, CMCs, costs budgeting, disclosure, and trial
  • Experience in complementary non-contentious IP work, including drafting IP agreements and dealing with wider contract/tort issues
