Job Summary

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in providing automated project solutions, supporting daily ticket systems, and being a core resource for high-visibility projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technical leads, technical managers, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure architectures.
  • Develop and maintain automated project solutions to support daily ticket systems and high-visibility projects.
  • Provide technical support to engineering user communities and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing, HPC, and infrastructure management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 48 years of experience in computer science engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong set of RedHat skills, preferably with RH Certification.
  • Understanding of operations in public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Automation, Jira, and Confluence experience).
  • Technical skills in Linux OS fundamentals, problem-solving, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with HPC workload management tools like IBM Spectrum LSF.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Shell, Python, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding and experience in infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Good understanding of remote display and interactive technologies like ETX.
  • Solid skills in Vulnerability Management and security patching of constantly evolving environments.
  • Skills and attitude on automating common repetitive tasks.
  • Relevant experience in a distributed team.
  • Working in a sophisticated multigeography engineering services environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Artifactory, and/or Continuous Integration (CI) applications.
  • Knowledge on HPC applications like Flex-based Licenses and EDA tools.
