Job Title: Residential Development Solicitor

Location: Exeter

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships with regional offices, requiring occasional travel
  2. Specialising in property-focused tasks such as affordable housing and land acquisition, advising on general land matters, disposal matters, and providing support in planning work

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  1. Solicitor or fully qualified legal executive status
  2. Experience in property due diligence, reporting on title, conditional contracts, option agreements, affordable housing sales, section 106 agreements, infrastructure agreements, and site assembly
  3. Previous experience working for a house builder, either in-house or in private practice
  4. Computer literacy and strong social and communication skills
  5. Knowledge of land/property law and regulations
  6. Familiarity with residential development processes
  7. Experience in advising on planning matters for residential developments
  8. Confidence in handling confidential and sensitive information
