We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site and Project Manager to join our team at North Tech1. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects and site-based works to our clients, ensuring that all works are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Client Liaison and Job Management
- Be the single point of contact for our clients and manage all works based on customer priority and requirement.
- Assist our service team in ensuring tickets are attended to according to SLA and customer need.
- Project Management
- Plan project works, ensuring materials are ordered ahead of the works taking place.
- Prepare a clearly defined scope of work for each project and obtain client agreement.
- Produce and issue Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to the client and engineers.
- Arrange necessary resources to complete the works.
- Obtain customer sign off for each project, request invoicing, and manage the project budget, Payment Applications & invoicing, and reporting.
- Systems Installation and Commissioning
- Assist our engineering team with installation works and carry out commissioning activities on customer systems.
- Technical Support
- Provide support to our service team for Gallagher and Genetec systems.
- Site Management
- Manage site-based engineers, providing support and works management to ensure they have the required tools and materials to complete jobs.
- Assist with people management and ensure site Health and Safety compliance.
- Deliver toolbox talks and complete regular auditing tasks as defined by our business processes.
- Perform PPE checks and inspections to ensure engineers have the required protection for the job.
- Stores Management
- Manage on-site stores, performing delivery checks on all orders and ensuring goods are receipted via our SAP GRN process.
- Ensure goods are stored securely and record the issue of goods to engineering.
- Notify procurement of any issues as soon as possible.
- Arrange for the return of faulty stock under warranty and subsequent replacement.
- Certifications/Qualifications
- Gallagher certification is essential.
- Genetec certification is an advantage.
- DBS clearance is required for working in public sector environments.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience of project management or coordination.
- 3+ years' experience with Enterprise Grade Access Control, ideally Gallagher, plus Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel.
- 3+ years' experience with Enterprise Grade VMS systems such as Milestone, Genetec, IndigoVision, Pelco, Avigilon.
- Experience in integrating security systems into one single pane of glass management is an advantage.
- Experience leading a small team is preferred.
- Skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Technical expertise in core skillset areas.
- Organised and analytical with proven ability in problem solving and issue resolution.
- A flexible approach, willing to travel and 'go the extra mile' to meet client and internal deadlines.
- Plans and manages own daily workflow.
- Good administration skills with sound working knowledge of business systems and mainstream applications e.g., Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent team player and relationship builder.
- A results-orientated ethos, able to apply knowledge and skills in the pursuit of business objectives.
- Sound commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets and achieve on-time delivery to high standards of quality.
- Ensure works are effectively scheduled and meet or exceed SLAs as applicable.
- Ensure project work is effectively managed and completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Always ensure site Health and Safety compliance and escalate any immediate issues to line management.
- Ensure new and faulty stock is managed effectively, recorded on SAP, and escalate any immediate issues to line management.
