Job Summary:

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Physics Specialist to join their Energy team in London. As a Building Physics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist services to numerous multidisciplinary projects within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy and sustainability strategies to minimize the environmental impact of projects
  • Conduct energy modeling and analysis using IES-VE software to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and SAP assessments for non-domestic and commercial projects
  • Provide expert advice on building energy consumption and embodied carbon across all stages of the design development process

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a Building Physics role within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in IES-VE software and experience with CIBSE TM52, TM59, TM54, and Daylight Calculations
  • Experience delivering NABERS assessments and calculations
  • A Low Carbon Energy Assessor CIBSE Accreditation or working towards it would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
