Job Description

Wayman Education is seeking a highly committed and passionate Primary School Teacher who is keen to ignite a real passion in students by providing a rich, varied, and exciting curriculum.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher who can start in September 2024. This is a significant position within the school, and the successful applicant will have strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving KS1 class.

Responsibilities
  • As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.

Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS1.
