Job Title: English, Maths and Science Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate English, Maths and Science Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, providing bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 pupils' education.
  • Boost engagement and attainment levels through creative and flexible approaches.
  • Work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • UK classroom teaching experience.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
  • Two professional child-related references.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Within the community or pupils' home in Putney.
  • Position: English, Maths and Science Tutor.
  • Type of work: Contract.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement.
  • Contract type: Temporary.
  • Full-time/part-time: Part time (15 hours per week, per student).
  • Minimum rate of pay: £22+ per hour.
