Job Title: Food Production Operative

Overview: We are seeking dedicated Food Production Operatives to join our team. This role involves working in a dynamic food manufacturing environment with rotating shifts.

Shift Details:
- 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 6am rotating shifts
- Guaranteed 40-hour work week with opportunities for overtime.

Compensation:
- Starting pay of £11.52 per hour
- £20.00 weekly attendance bonus.

Responsibilities:
As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:

  • Repackaging dried herbs, lentils, flour, and spices into 25Kg bags.
  • Operating various food production machinery.
  • Lifting weights up to 25kg.
  • Palletizing finished products.
  • End-of-line packing for both small and large items.
  • Performing sieving, roasting, milling, and blending tasks.
  • Engaging in manual handling and deep cleaning as part of the production process.
  • Completing necessary paperwork to maintain supply chain consistency.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety standards.
  • An understanding of production processes.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication and paperwork completion.
  • Familiarity with Critical Control Points and experience with food metal detectors.
