About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Control Inspector to join our team at Adur District and Worthing Borough Councils. As a Building Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with building regulations and promoting public safety in our rapidly developing area.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead an area team of surveyors and assist/deputise for the Building Control Manager
- Process building applications, issue decisions, and conduct site inspections
- Maintain the council's quality management system and deal with dangerous structures and demolitions
Requirements
- Registered with the Building Safety Regulator as level 2 a-f
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
