We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Stanley House, a specialist care service for individuals with Neurological Conditions. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care and services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the unit are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and provide high-quality care and support to service users, while promoting good teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Delegate nursing tasks to nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes, making critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Supervise other members within the team and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent care.
- Be a liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- A relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration.
- A positive attitude and a natural ability to care and be compassionate.
- A commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.
- Relevant experience in a similar environment and proven leadership skills.
- An annual salary of £42,000.
