About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality psychological services to individuals experiencing trauma and PTSD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients referred to our service, utilizing a range of data sources and clinical interview techniques.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, NET, and compassion-focused therapy.
  • Provide specialist consultation and liaison with multidisciplinary teams, third sector organizations, and service users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver training programs, promoting best practices in trauma-informed care.
Requirements
  • Hold a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychology qualification and current registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD, with a strong understanding of NICE guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
