We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Inspector to join our team at SGS United Kingdom Ltd. As a Cargo Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials, including Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Petrochemicals, and Petroleum Gases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent assessment of the quantity and quality of materials
- Work as part of a 24/7, 365-day operational team to ensure all operations are covered in an effective and efficient manner
- Collaborate with local laboratory teams to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Perform inspections in confined spaces, requiring physical resilience and adaptability
- Hold a full valid driving license for use in the UK
- Experience in the Oil and/or Chemical related industry, ideally with prior Inspection experience
- Alternatively, experience working at sea in various capacities or relevant science/nautical qualification
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
