Job Description

Job Title: Vice Principal - Girls' Provision Leader

Job Summary:

MLK Education Search is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice Principal to lead the Girls' Provision at our client school. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence, improving student outcomes, and promoting a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pupil Education and Wellbeing: Develop and implement effective strategies to improve pupil education, training, and recreation, ensuring a holistic approach to student development.
  • Quality of Education: Lead the development and implementation of high-quality education programs, focusing on curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment.
  • Girls', SEND, and Pastoral Provision: Oversee the provision of support services for girls, students with special educational needs, and pastoral care, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Line Management: Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities for subject coordinators, ensuring effective leadership and management.
  • Enrichment and Pupil Premium: Develop and implement strategies to enhance pupil enrichment, address gaps in provision, and promote social mobility.
  • Staff Development and Mentoring: Support the development of early career teachers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a valid QTS in the UK, with a strong track record of teaching experience at various levels in Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Ofsted framework, with experience in leading and managing teams, developing policies, and implementing change.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Have a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
  • High-Quality Teaching and Learning: Be committed to high-quality teaching and learning, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to model this for others.
