Financial Planning and Analysis Role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Bristol as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist. This role is crucial for driving financial forecasts, budgeting processes, and strategic support in the financial discipline of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of Business Unit financial reports, including routine and non-routine requirements
  • Develop and implement sophisticated financial models and dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Analyse Business Unit level financial forecasts and provide independent assessments to Management
  • Support internal programme reviews and prepare ad-hoc reports for Senior Management
  • Establish and monitor departmental budgets, indirect rate forecasts, and estimates
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA, etc) with post-qualification experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Experience in a similar role within the government contracting industry or relevant financial experience in a related industry
