Job Summary:
Step Teachers is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team of educators. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art lessons, planning engaging curriculum content, and marking student work to ensure continuous progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and national standards.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Assessment and Feedback: Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Art Teacher in a UK-based school.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art on a KS3 and KS4 level.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
