Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Farm Manager in daily bird management, ensuring excellent welfare, feed, and water.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, feed schedules, health observations, and treatments.
  • Implement and maintain exceptional biosecurity measures on the farm.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with livestock, particularly poultry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer use.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with broiler or laying chickens.
