About the Role:

GLL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at Better Gym Connswater. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals by providing personalized exercise programs and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze client information to create tailored exercise programs
  • Design and deliver safe and effective exercise sessions, including group classes and one-on-one training
  • Provide inductions and general exercise programs, introducing clients to new equipment as needed
  • Teach classes or small group training, with training provided to ensure success
  • Select relevant exercises and design programs that prioritize client safety
  • Produce program cards for clients and suggest exercise adaptations to accommodate individual needs
  • Use logical and progressive teaching methods to introduce exercises aligned with client goals
  • Select and demonstrate various training methods for clients
  • Provide general advice on progressing individual programs and assist clients with correcting unsafe technique
  • Interact and motivate clients using strategies to promote retention and adherence to exercise
