About the Role

Tesco's pharmacy team is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Duty Pharmacy Manager. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our customers and colleagues.

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing our pharmacy team, providing top-notch services to our customers, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with our pharmacy manager to develop and implement new initiatives and services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services to our customers
  • Play an active role in our charity support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Support the pharmacy manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
  • Build relationships with primary care networks and GPs' surgeries to improve patient outcomes
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items

What We're Looking For

  • A pharmacy degree and a passion for leading and empowering a team
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and a willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • A DBS check (organized by us) before employment
