Project Services Manager

PBS (Semco UK) is seeking a highly skilled Project Services Lead to join the E&C team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the project controls service for the E&C department.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project control processes and procedures to ensure effective project delivery.
- Support the Planning Governance Manager and Cost Control Manager in implementing and maintaining project control processes across the portfolio of projects.
- Collaborate with the business services team to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Drive ownership and accountability among project team members to manage change and ensure project scope is aligned with business objectives.
- Liaise with client project controls functions and management to ensure alignment of project controls processes and deliverables.
- Provide input to weekly and monthly client meetings to ensure project progress and performance are aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for controlling project performance indicators.
- Establish and manage project performance reports to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to drive project performance.
- Identify and report schedule and cost risks and opportunities, and support the management of change, growth, and variation.
- Support the development of Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (SRA, CRA) procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance within the project control team.
- Analyze project data to enable early identification of problems and drive positive behaviors towards mitigating actions.
- Create project-specific reports to support client annual budgeting cycles.
- Experience in project controls or project engineering functions, with a strong understanding of project controls theory and practices.
- Contract knowledge, with experience in various forms of EPC contracting.
- Experience with integrated project controls systems and Microsoft 365 data collection and analysis tools, including PowerBI.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong working knowledge of project controls software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle change effectively and adapt to new situations.
- Delivery-focused and committed to achieving project and company goals.
- Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
- Formal project controls qualification (Cost or Planning Pathway).
