Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity
Legado Recruitment is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join an established firm in the Haywards Heath area.
This full-time role is based in the office, offering a professional and friendly environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a busy workload, utilizing their ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, deeds, and correspondence
- Handle completion statements, raise solicitors' invoices, and draft contracts etc
- Take instructions from and liaise with clients
- Undertake online searches and complete Land Registry and SDLT forms
- Provide secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers
- Produce documents using the firm's case management software
- Utilize excellent administrative and organizational skills with a good eye for detail
- Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal (Conveyancing Legal Secretaries will also be considered)
- Ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative
