Position Overview

BigCommerce is revolutionizing the e-commerce sector as the leading SaaS provider for rapidly growing mid-market companies. We assist our clients in creating user-friendly and captivating online stores that cater to every phase of their development.

We are seeking a Manager of GTM Strategy & Operations to spearhead growth initiatives throughout the organization by utilizing a team of analytical and qualitative problem solvers in collaborative and consultative roles, particularly focusing on our Sales and Post-Sales operations. The ideal candidate will swiftly establish trust with diverse stakeholders and apply operational and analytical acumen to address the most intricate challenges facing the organization. This leader will play a crucial role in fostering data-driven decision-making and facilitating positive organizational transformation through a blend of practical experience, interpersonal skills, financial modeling, operational insight, process enhancement, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a trusted partnership with the regional General Manager and other Senior Leaders within the GTM Organization, serving as a subject matter expert to identify key challenges and business opportunities.
  • Conduct data and economic assessments on sales effectiveness throughout the sales funnel, demonstrating curiosity and the ability to independently source data, identify gaps, and integrate Tableau reports and visualizations into analyses.
  • Continuously identify and mitigate risks while evaluating prioritization for high-impact activities that support revenue growth in the EMEA region.
  • Prepare materials for key business rhythms, including monthly business reviews, quarterly Board meetings, and annual financial planning.
  • Collaborate with Operations leaders in various regions to standardize and globalize operational tactics.
  • Work alongside peers in the Global GTM Strategy & Operations teams to design and implement operational enhancements derived from insights or business partnerships.
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Solutions teams to create and implement additional Tableau datasets necessary for ongoing analysis and improvement.
  • Mentor and train other Operations employees in similar roles, providing guidance to new hires and assisting in understanding business modeling conventions and analysis.
  • Drive the execution of established playbooks to ensure operational sustainability within insights, operations, and performance review processes, adopting a systems-thinking approach rather than an ad-hoc one.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, or related fields in Business Analytics or Finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in SaaS technology or eCommerce sectors is highly desirable.
  • Prior involvement in supporting GTM functions, particularly in Marketing and Sales Operations.
  • Proven track record of conducting comprehensive advanced analyses, managing stakeholders, and collaborating in cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
  • Effective communicator and storyteller who simplifies complex concepts into digestible information that influences executive behavior (oral, written, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data exploration and analysis tools such as Tableau or Looker is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with revenue-generating teams to assess business opportunities and recommend implementation or improvements, demonstrating success in enhancing business performance and efficiency.
  • Driven, inquisitive, and quick to assimilate information; adept at independently resolving issues amidst ambiguity.
