Salary: £23,152 per annum, pro-rata | Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time, 10 hours per week

Location: Bamber Bridge HQ Offices, Dewhurst Row, Bamber Bridge, Preston

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (10 hours per week), with a start time of 16:00-18:00

About the Position

The Facilities Management Division at Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to perform essential cleaning tasks at our Bamber Bridge headquarters.

This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in some of the most significant buildings in Lancashire, which serve vital functions for the community and support vulnerable individuals.

While prior experience in cleaning is advantageous, comprehensive training and continuous support will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct general cleaning duties, including damp wiping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom sanitation.

This is a part-time role; the stated salary is based on full-time equivalency, and the hourly rate will be £12.00.
