About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented undergraduate student to join our Research & Development function in Southampton as an Undergraduate Intern – Physics. This 12-month placement will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the advancement of our harm reduction and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate emerging technologies for aerosol generation
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and implement new aerosol generation methods
  • Process and analyze data, presenting results and recommendations to the business
  • Work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver scientific workstreams and projects
Requirements
  • Currently studying towards an undergraduate degree in Physics or a related subject
  • Motivation to work in a Good Laboratory Practice environment
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Scientific curiosity and critical thinking
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
