**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Compliance Officer to join our team in the Resources and Waste Management Service at Derbyshire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of waste disposal services across the county.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement systems for managing waste disposal services, including site inspections, meetings with contractors, audits, and site visits to waste facilities.
- Contribute to the development of waste management initiatives with partner organizations, promoting sustainable waste practices and reducing waste disposal costs.
- Provide administrative support in processing accounts and maintaining databases, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Travel to various locations for site visits and appointments, representing the council and building relationships with stakeholders.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and external partners.
