We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team at Third Space Natural Fitness Food. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are sanitized and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Wash and sanitize all cooking utensils and equipment.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks.
- Follow instructions precisely, as directed by the Head Chef and Head Kitchen Porter.
- Clean up breakages and spillages to prevent accidents.
- Clean and maintain bin areas, ensuring they are placed and ready for collection in designated areas.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
