Job Title: Chief Security Officer

About the Role

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Chief Security Officer to lead our cybersecurity efforts and ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect our systems and data from evolving threats.
  • Lead the security team in identifying and mitigating risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement secure software development practices.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that third-party vendors meet our security standards.
  • Develop and implement a security awareness program to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Experience with public cloud providers, software delivery lifecycle, GitOps, or CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong background in threat analysis, risk assessment, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Solid experience in information security and understanding of ISMS.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and protection legislation.
