About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team in Greater London. As a key member of our UK Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy.

As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering deliverables for high-profile FEED projects valued up to £6 million. You will lead and manage the interface between multiple disciplines, engineering centres, project controls, procurement teams, and external contractors/suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the interface between multiple disciplines, engineering centres, project controls, procurement teams, and external contractors/suppliers.
  • Ensure engineering designs are consistent across the board and delivered on time and within budget, with minimal supervision.
  • Support project progress, reporting, and manage accountability alongside the Project Manager.
  • Play a key role in bid preparation, writing proposals, and assisting in project execution plans to win and deliver new projects.
  • Oversee Engineering Design Reviews, ensuring all actions are closed out effectively.
  • Assist in strategic procurement planning, particularly for long-lead items.
  • Support and lead projects through FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering, with Chartered status being a plus.
  • Solid experience in FEED, detailed design, and EPC projects in the Oil & Gas or Low Carbon Energy Transition sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering disciplines, safety and quality procedures, and international equipment specifications and codes.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems and meet critical deadlines.
