Senior Research Associate

EC Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our client's growing Biology team in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for interrogating the efficacy and safety of our client's cell therapy in sophisticated in vitro assays and in vivo models.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cell culture, flow cytometry, and assay development, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for planning and executing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting results to the department and wider company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of cell therapy
  • Develop and optimize assays for detection of cytokines and antibodies
  • Characterize iPSC/HSC cells using flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA, and immunofluorescence
  • Contribute to the development of new protocols and SOPs
  • Collaborate with programme leaders and matrix team members to exchange data and plan cell culture/assay activities

Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc, or equivalent experience in cell culture, immunology, or a related field
  • Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and western blot
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
