Job Title: Executive Chef

Location: Stonegate - Proper Pubs

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver high-quality food experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Kitchen Team: Supervise and motivate the kitchen staff to ensure excellent food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Menu Development and Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions that meet customer preferences and drive sales.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality control procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and optimize food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Team Development and Training: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven Culinary Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Culinary Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and plating techniques, with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Certification in food safety and quality control, with a strong understanding of HACCP principles.
