Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new equipment for various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment using SolidWorks software.
  2. Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to accompany designs.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth project execution and meet project timelines.
  4. Provide technical advice and support on engineering-related issues.
  5. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
  6. Work closely with colleagues on other engineering tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer role.
  2. Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  3. Excellent 3D CAD skills, with proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor software.
  4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining and fabrication.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
