Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver Patient-Centred Care
- Provide skilled and effective care to patients with a variety of presentations, prioritizing their needs and implementing evidence-based programmes of care.
- Identify and record new problems and concerns, reporting back to the team lead and taking a proactive approach to discharge planning.
- Develop and utilize a range of nursing skills, including continence assessment, ECG recordings, venepuncture, IV drug administration, wound assessment and management.
- Undertake nutritional assessments and advise and support patients with their nutritional needs, including PEG feeds.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to identify and address patient needs, promoting health, reducing risk, and disease prevention.
- Take a proactive approach to risk assessments and take appropriate action as required.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- Experience in a similar role or relevant clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
