About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planners in preparing financial plans, suitability reports, and letters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Prepare comprehensive financial plans, suitability reports, and letters to support our financial planners.
  • Cash Flow Modelling: Develop and maintain accurate cash flow models to forecast client financial situations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and collate documentation to support the recommendation and justification of financial products and services.
  • Client Support: Assist with client meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve paraplanning processes, systems, and procedures to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold the Diploma Level Four qualification (or close to achieving) and have a desire to achieve Chartered and/or Certified financial planner status.
  • Financial Planning Knowledge: Good understanding of the financial planning process and associated compliance aspects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial planning tools, financial modelling, and back office software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
