Content Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Manager to lead our digital content strategy and drive business growth through impactful communications. As the Content Manager, you will oversee our blog, video, and podcast channels, creating proactive and engaging content that elevates our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement content plans in collaboration with the Group Communications Manager, ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
  • Create briefs for the content team to develop blogs, podcasts, and copy to support ongoing business growth and campaigns.
  • Provide writing and editing support to ensure top-notch content across all channels.
  • Lead the Content team, ensuring they deliver high-quality work on time and on brand.
  • Measure and report on the ROI of content output, demonstrating the impact of your work.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content development.
  • Strong experience in content creation and planning.
  • Proven people management and team leadership experience.
  • First-rate research and writing skills, able to handle both formal and informal communications in short and long form.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize conflicting tasks with ease.
  • Experience with video and/or audio editing is preferred (Adobe Premiere / Audition).
