Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Assurance & Business Services team as an Audit Professional. As part of this team, you will work directly with client finance teams to provide assurance, advice, and solutions that make a real difference.
Our audits follow a cycle of Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion, and you will quickly gain exposure to a variety of businesses, developing the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective auditor and trusted business adviser. You will also receive first-class professional training as you study for the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.
Responsibilities- Work as part of a team to undertake a variety of audit and accountancy tasks
- Develop an understanding of our clients and their business portfolios
- Keep senior stakeholders informed of project updates
- Become familiar with our audit and accounting software
- Resolve queries, whether of an audit or accountancy nature
- Prioritize tasks while monitoring time against budget
- Commitment to completing the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification on a Level 7 apprenticeship
- A Level (predicted or obtained): Minimum 112 UCAS points in top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies
- GCSE: Minimum Grade 5 (or equivalent), in English Language and Maths respectively
