Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team in Berkshire. As a key member of our defence technology business, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions in cyber and communications.

About the Role

The Senior Systems Architect will work closely with our Systems Engineering team, Business Development team, and senior stakeholders to drive new opportunities and contribute to technical bids and proposals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and driving revenue opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining the bid solution, including logical, functional, and physical architectures
  • Designing the engineering strategy required to design and deliver solutions
  • Applying technical knowledge to make informed decisions and identify further opportunities
  • Collaborating with the solution architectures and wider team to define and quantify opportunities
  • Highlighting and demonstrating a full awareness of current and future capabilities with a cost and risk-based approach
  • Leading the Engineering team, specifically the Systems Engineering team
  • Providing line management and mentoring to other engineers

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar systems engineering/architectural design role
  • Full knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and development models
  • Experience in strategy, planning, and design of complex solutions
  • Ability to identify business development growth and opportunities
  • Proven experience operating and working within the defence domain

Clearance and Travel

The successful candidate will be eligible for DV Clearance and will require around 25% travel to other customer sites.
