We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Carter Jonas. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the debt recovery process for one of our largest residential portfolios.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collect and process rent payments and other monies due from tenants
  • Chase tenant arrears and maintain accurate records of debt recovery
  • Implement and manage payment plans and arrears letters
  • Liaise with tenants, finance, and property management teams to ensure smooth debt recovery process
  • Organize and attend client meetings to discuss debt recovery and payment plans

**Requirements:**

  • Significant experience in credit control or a related field
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to debt recovery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and credit control software
