About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in governance and compliance, to work in a senior role reporting directly to the Finance Director. The successful candidate will provide advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group's Boards and Committees, and lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group's Boards and Committees
  • Lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management
  • Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Qualified company secretary/solicitor or equivalent experience with a degree-level qualification
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail
