Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at ATA Search, a leading recruitment agency specializing in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation, and general Engineering recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sectors, with a focus on the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a 30/60/90 day plan to establish and grow the revenue stream in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sectors.
- Generate RFQs for systems and build cost proposals for bids, leveraging cross-over selling opportunities with existing customers.
- Research and identify new business targets, including OEM, EPC, and end-user customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to network and generate new contacts.
- Approach key points of contact in customers to sell the business and its capabilities.
- Ensure projects are won at target profit levels (minimum 15%).
- Proven sales background in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry, or experience selling systems containing heat exchangers or pressure vessels.
- Strong appetite for new business development and a solution-focused sales style.
- Some form of supporting qualification and a strong negotiator.
- Ability to travel to the Derbyshire office one to two days a week (three days a week ideally initially during the onboarding process).
- Competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000.
