UPS Service Engineer Job Description

Our client, a world leader in Smart power, systems, and robotics, is seeking a skilled UPS Service Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing onsite support to customers across the UK, working from home, and performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and analyzing data.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for improving operations and eliminating pain points.
  2. Perform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and analyzing data through remote or on-site activity.
  3. Prepare material lists for repairs and upgrades, ensuring all necessary materials, parts, and equipment are available and of high quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Relevant electronic qualification with experience in power electronics.
  2. 2 years of experience as a field engineer on UPS systems or working on other electronic systems, such as drives or similar technology.
  3. Experience working on high-powered UPS and with large data centre customers.
  4. Valid driving license in the UK.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
