Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of legal documents across the firm and implement updates to the document management system.
  • Handle various corporate administrative functions for the firm's legal entities operating in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Review and condense fundamental contractual provisions, including confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, side letters, and terms of service.
  • Examine, interpret, and summarize transaction documents related to specific investments.
  • Coordinate various tasks associated with quarterly board and committee meetings, including the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes and relevant materials.
  • Take charge of customer due diligence review processes and the onboarding of new clients.
  • Prepare and file regulatory submissions promptly with the FCA, SEC, and other pertinent regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in periodic compliance evaluations of the firm's policies and procedures, including personal account dealing reviews and electronic communications surveillance, as well as screening of the firm's vendors and service providers.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a paralegal at a prestigious UK or US law firm or in an in-house role within an investment management organization. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in investment funds.
  • An outstanding academic record from a reputable university.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong sense of accountability and intellectual curiosity.
  • The ability to comprehend complex information in a precise and succinct manner.
