About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant school in Walsall. As the Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of the school premises, including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and conducive to a productive learning environment.
  • Manage a small team of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met, and liaise with contractors and service providers for maintenance and repair work.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of school events and activities, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
  • Support the school's health and safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or maintenance role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
