About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Consultant to join our International People Solutions team at Lockton. As an Associate Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of client services across our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focus
    • Work closely with consultants and senior consultants to prepare client deliverables and materials across our range of expatriate benefit propositions and services.
    • Understand the underlying reasons for client work and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with client team members to direct, address, and resolve client queries and issues related to expatriate benefits.
  • Client Delivery
    • Monitor and track renewals, produce renewal reports, maintain client files, and populate activity/issues trackers.
    • Own and coordinate membership changes, queries, and tracking of invoices for clients.
    • Produce drafts of meeting agendas and meeting minutes/actions.
    • Manage a small portfolio of SME clients, acting as the lead consultant for all client activity.
    • Support client-facing technology tools by adding new users and providing basic troubleshooting.
    • Understand client engagement and manage budgets/other metrics through effective project tracking.
    • Ensure adherence to Lockton processes for compliance and risk management of delivery, including data protection and audit trails.
  • Making Effective Connections
    • Build relationships with key international carriers to gain knowledge and understanding of each proposition.
    • Work proactively with the Broking Desk to ensure client renewals are managed effectively and delivered on time.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree and/or experience in a role that reflects the skills and experience transferred to the world of Expatriate Benefits.
    • Experience in the insurance/employee benefits sector.
    • Completed training courses/qualifications in core areas such as insurance, international benefits (IEBA), HR, or another related discipline.
    • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong client focus with the ability to develop positive relationships with team members and external contacts.
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and achieve and manage timescales for delivery.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with colleagues in both an office and virtual environment.
    Desirable Qualifications
    • Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language.
    • Any other professional qualifications or training.
    • Experience working or living abroad.
