Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team at Cummins in Daventry, UK. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing production engines, ensuring quality standards are met, and working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure quality standards meet the requirements of the business, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Follow stage process documentation and correctly document quality checks, maintaining accurate records.
  • Report any problems or concerns to supervision, collaborating with the team to resolve issues.
  • Liaise with supervision on all aspects affecting the smooth running of the operation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Complete daily checks, including 5S, Hymo, and Crane, to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous assembly or factory experience is beneficial, with a mechanical or electrical background (fitting components) being an advantage.
  • Ability to work under own initiative within recognized processes, with a focus on self-management and achieving production targets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education, with some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
