Accounts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team at Eireann Recruitment Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase and sales ledger, as well as providing administrative support to the site teams and MD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the purchase and sales ledger through QuickBooks software
  • Process purchase orders and goods received
  • Receive and process purchase invoices
  • Make monthly supplier payments
  • Manage invoice queries with suppliers
  • Process weekly wages payments
  • Liaise with external company accountants
  • Monitor company email inbox
  • Perform general office administration duties, including scanning and filing
Requirements:
  • Good IT skills, with proficiency in Excel
  • Experience working in a similar role within the construction or industrial industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with staff and external bodies
  • Strong organisational skills, with a high level of discretion and responsibility for important documents
